Scholarship Description
The University of Bath, supported by the University and generous donors who share pride in the school’s students’ achievements, offer a range of scholarships, including the University of Bath International Scholarships Scheme (UoBISS), for outstanding international students from any country.

Specifically, the UoBISS Scholarships apply to a group of 8 scholarship schemes which are centrally managed by the International Relations Office with funding sourced from the University, Faculties (Faculty of Engineering & Design, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences and Faculty of Science) and Alumni and Corporate Donors.

If you are an international fee-paying student you could be eligible for one of 75 scholarships from the University of Bath International Scholarships Scheme (UoBISS) (which is Scheme 1).

Eligibility
You can apply for this scholarship if you are an international student from any country and:

  • have a confirmed offer to study a full-time taught postgraduate masters (including stand-alone Masters of Research (MRes)) programme with us
  • have firmly accepted your (conditional or unconditional) offer
  • study at the Faculty of Engineering and Design, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, or Faculty of Science

This scheme is not available to students studying at the School of Management.

Selection Criteria:
Scholarship awardees are chosen primarily for their academic and extra-curricular excellence and their potential contribution to the international community at Bath.

Method of Application
You must have firmly accepted your (conditional or unconditional) offer of study for a full-time taught post-graduate masters programme. You do not need to apply separately for the UoBISS scholarship. If you are eligible for the scholarship scheme we will let you know and invite you to apply.
